Client agrees to the following cancellation policies:
(a) Cancellations and Cancellation Fees. Whiskers At Home requires 4 days or more advance notice of cancellation of the scheduled Pet Care Service unless specified otherwise herein. Failure to provide 4 days notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total invoice for the scheduled pet care service that is cancelled. Failure to provide 24 hours advance notice of cancellation of any scheduled service will result in a cancellation fee equal to the total fee for the cancelled service. Returning home early is the same as a last minute cancellation and is charged at 100% of the original scheduled service. Any prepaid deposits for the Pet Care Service will first be applied to the cancellation fee and any remaining balance will be refunded or applied as a credit for future trips.
(b) Holiday Cancellations: Any cancellations prior to a major holiday; i.e.: New Years Eve and Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with less than a 7 day notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total invoice for scheduled pet care to be paid. We request your understanding that Holiday travel is a peak service time for pet care.
(c) Termination of Long Term Mid-Day Service: Whiskers At Home requires that you provide two weeks (14 day) notice in the event long term mid-day service (mid-day service between 11am – 3pm scheduled for a minimum period of three months) is no longer needed. If you fail to provide such notice, payment in full is due for the service originally agreed upon.
All of your information will be kept private and confidential. Whiskers At Home highly respects your entrusting us with the care of your loving pets and home. We recommend that you inform a trusted neighbor that while you are away Whiskers At Home will be caring for your pets and your home.
